Joyce M. (Cahalan) Jendzejec

Joyce M. (Cahalan) Jendzejec, 84, of Coventry, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday morning, March 12, 2024 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of Robert P. Jendzejec, they had been married for sixty years.  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Gladys (Barden) Cahalan. She was a resident of Coventry for most of her life.

Mrs. Jendzejec was employed at the former California Artificial Flower Company (Calart) in Providence and Ross-Simons Jewelers for many years until retiring in 2006.  Her hobbies and enjoyments included, gardening, reading, cooking and traveling with her husband.

Besides her husband she leaves her son, Todd R. Jendzejec and his wife Jennifer of Foster and a brother, Carl Cahalan in Florida.  She was the sister of the late Carol Cybulski, Marilyn Garrity and Marjorie Swanson.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in SS.
