John Blanding Obituary

Blanding, John I., 57, of Hartford Avenue, Johnston, passed away Saturday evening, February 13, 2021 unexpectedly at home.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph I. and Pearl M. (Martin) Blanding.

John was a property manager for a residential complex in Arizona for many years. He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Dessert Storm War, enjoyed refurbishing Japanese motorcycles, listening to 80’s music and loved giving advice as a “Life Coach”.

He is survived by a son, John Connor Blanding; a daughter, Chelsey M. Blanding; a sister, Bernadette M. Blanding and a nephew.

His funeral service and interment will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family with funeral services would be greatly appreciated.
