Joan A. Petrozzi

Joan A. Petrozzi, 69, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  

Born in Warwick, a daughter of the late Rimmige and Mary “Esther” (Souza) Petrozzi.  She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.

Joan was in the banking industry for forty-two years, beginning her career with Industrial National Bank before retiring in 2021 from Bank of America.  She loved spending time with her nieces and nephew, cooking, baking and reading.  She was known for her kindness and generosity by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by a brother, Paul R. Petrozzi; a sister, Ann M. Petrozzi and her husband Michael Masciarelli; cherished niece and nephew, Nicole Tate and Mathew Petrozzi; a great niece, Madison Tate and several cousins, including Richard Rita and Mary Gosselin.

Her funeral will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
