Joan E. (Carpenter) Bonnick

BONNICK, Joan E. (Carpenter), 83, of Warwick, passed away Sunday evening, July 23, 2023 at Kent Regency Center.

She was the wife of the late William A. Bonnick, Colonel USAR (Ret.).  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (McKay) Carpenter.

Mrs. Bonnick was a counselor with the Rhode Island DCYF for many years until retiring. She enjoyed traveling, sailing, golfing, and skiing with her late husband, Bill.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by three children, Richard D. Lawrence (Susan) of Coventry, Barbara Lawrence of Enfield, CT and Calvin Lawrence of Quincy, MA; three grandsons, Justin Lawrence (Laura), Evan Lawrence (Victoria) and Adam Lawrence and two great grandsons, Jayce and Alexander.  She was the sister of the late Walter Carpenter.
