After the Bhopal disaster and the demise of Union Carbide, he followed those health and retirement plans as they were sold to Coopers & Lybrand in New Jersey, Towers Perrin in Philadelphia, and to the Ross Perot Group, Hewlett Packard, and finally Xerox. Jed retired from Xerox and relocated to Florida at age 55.
He was a fervent fan of the N.Y. Giants, the N.Y. Mets, and the N.Y. Knicks, as well as the stock market, politics, and history subjects.
Jed was predeceased by his two brothers, James in 1986, and Jason in 1965.
