Jeanne V. (Landry) Bouressa

BOURESSA, Jeanne V. (Landry), 80, of Rosemary Street, Coventry, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at Kent Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late David H. Bouressa.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Viola R. (Lavallee) Landry.  She was a lifelong resident of Coventry.

Jeanne was an office manager at Kent Hospital with the Home Care Department for twenty-five years until retiring in 1998.  Following Kent Hospital, she was the office manager with Dr. Stephen Matarese for fifteen years and retired in 2017.  Jeanne was also the organist for over thirty years at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.  Her most enjoyable time spent was with her husband playing music at various establishments for twenty-five years.

She also enjoyed bowling, tennis, golf, camping, riding her Honda scooter, ping pong, billiards, visiting lighthouses and playing cards weekly with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three daughters, Donna J. Clark and her husband Paul of Elizabethtown, KY, Deborah L. Walker and her husband David of Coventry and Lisa A. Geoffroy and her husband Brian of Coventry; eight grandchildren, Kristen Gavula, David Seelye, Matthew Geoffroy, Andrew Thomas, James Thomas, Alexander Geoffroy, Isaiah Thomas and Caleb Walker; two great grandchildren, Samuel Gavula and Liam Gavula; a brother, Gerard Landry and his wife Ruth of Coventry and her longtime friend, Maggie Voit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 in her memory would be appreciated.  Arrangements with HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
