Jean A. (Wessel) Iasimone

IASIMONE, Jean A. (Wessel), 81, of Clyde Towers, 1021 Main Street, West Warwick, passed away, Tuesday, July 4, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Kent Hospital, Warwick.

She was the wife of the late John W. Iasimone, who passed away in 2008.  Born in Charlestown, RI, a daughter of the late George and Elsie (Sherman) Wessel.  She was a resident of West Warwick for many years.

Jean was an attendant at the former Ladd School in Exeter for many years until retiring.  She loved spending time with family and playing bingo.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Matteson and her husband Wayne of West Warwick and Lisa M. Card and her husband Steven of Bradford, RI; a brother, Irving R. Wilkinson; ten grandchildren, Tommy, Jessica, Shannon, Joshua, Brandie, Gavin, Andrew, Alex, Jeremy and Jason; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including, Lantz Wilkinson and his wife Pat and Pru Colprit and her husband Rick.  She was the mother of the late Stephen Golding, Jay Golding and Jeffrey Golding and sister of the late Arthur Wilkinson and Russell Wilkinson.
