Irene Perry Obituary

PERRY, Irene V. (Ventura), 96, of West Warwick, passed away Monday morning, May 18, 2020 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was the beloved wife of the late Seraphin J. Perry,  Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Alves-Aguiar) Ventura.

Mrs. Perry was employed in the receiving department at Filene’s Department Store for many years until retiring in 1987.  She was involved with the Portuguese Cultural Society and loved quilting, sewing, knitting and gardening.

She is survived by a daughter, Julie A. Perry of West Warwick; two sons, Dennis R. Perry and his wife Cynthia of Coventry and Kenneth L. Perry and his wife Paula of Dresden, Maine; a sister, Madeline A. Moniz of Liverpool, NY and a granddaughter, Candace Perry of Chicago, IL.  She was the sister of the late George A. Ventura, Antonio Ventura and Cecelia K. Ray.
