ROCH, Frances H. (Begos), 93, of Pawtuxet Terrace, West Warwick, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday evening, May 7, 2021 at home.
She was the beloved wife of Paul D. Roch, they had been married for sixty seven years. Born in Coventry, a daughter of the late Frank and Anastasia (Lesniak) Begos.
Frances was a kind and gentle soul who always put her family and others first. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren on Johnson’s Pond, as they were always a huge part of her life. Much time was spent sharing stories of growing up during the Depression, what life was like during World War II and her experiences as a hairdresser. In 1962, she transitioned to becoming a co-owner of Roch’s Dry Cleaners and Tailoring. During that time, she became a meticulous seamstress. She lived her entire life in West Warwick where she developed small town friendships that lasted a lifetime. You could also count on her to provide historical facts about the town she loved and the people that lived there. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church and left a lasting impact on her family and will be deeply missed by all.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Paula Antonetti and her husband Frank of Coventry and Jeannine St. Jean and her husband Ronald of Coventry; four grandchildren, Vanessa and Danielle Antonetti and Stephanie and Matthew St. Jean and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank Begos, Jr., Stanley Begos and Walter Begos.
