Florence G. (Snow) Masse

MRS. MASSE'S FUNERAL WILL BE HELD FROM THE PRATA-GALLOGLY FUNERAL HOME, 78 PROVIDENCE STREET, WEST WARWICK, FRIDAY MORNING.

Florence G. (Snow) MASSE, 97, of Alden Drive, West Warwick, passed away peacefully with her son by her side Easter Sunday morning, April 20, 2025 at home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest N. Masse, they had been married for sixty one years upon his passing in 2018.  Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Dora (Mayer) Snow.  She was a resident of West Warwick for most of her life.

Mrs. Masse was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, enjoyed antiquing and tending to her outdoor flowers gardens.

She is survived by her two children, Lynn A. Anderson and John D. Masse both of West Warwick; five grandchildren, Ernest “EJ” Masse, Johnathon Masse, Matthew Masse and Brian and Amy Anderson; three great grandchildren and a sister, Yvonne Cornell. She was the beloved mother of the late Ernest L. Masse and sister of the late Cecile Picard, Rita J. Pelletier and Doris Jarbeau.

Her funeral will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
