Ethelmay G. (Morton) Holmes, 67, of Capron Street, West Warwick, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael R. Holmes. They had been married for fifty two years upon his passing last February. Born in Warwick, a daughter of the late George W. and Mary (Baton) Morton.
Ethel loved spending time with her family but nothing was more important than being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
She is survived by three sons, Michael R. Holmes, Jr., Howard J. Holmes and George W, Holmes and his wife Jennie; a daughter, Tanya Holmes; two grandchildren, Dakota Holmes and George Holmes; a sister, Emily Jencks and her husband Billy; a brother, George Baton and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Smith and William Morton.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
