Eileen T. (Rego) Medeiros, 93, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, December 15, 2025, at Kent Hospital in Warwick.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Medeiros, with whom she shared many devoted years of marriage until his passing in 2013. Born in West Warwick, Eileen was a daughter of the late Manuel and Teolinda M. (Silva) Rego and was a lifelong resident of the community she dearly loved.
A faithful communicant of St. Anthony Church, Eileen’s life was rooted in her deep faith and quiet devotion. She found great joy in boating and being on the water, where she felt most at peace, and she especially enjoyed listening to country music. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and steady presence will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Eileen was the loving mother of Joseph J. Medeiros of West Warwick and Gail E. Santilli of Warwick. She was a cherished grandmother of Nicole Smith and a proud great-grandmother of Nolan Smith. She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Erika Edwards, whom she held forever in her heart.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick. Burial will follow in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
