Eileen F. (Madeiros) China

Eileen F. (Madeiros) China, aged 99, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, after a brief stay at Kent Hospital. Her life was marked by grace and kindness.

Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Leon J. China, Jr., who passed away in 2003. She was born to the late Joseph and Frances (Rei) Madeiros.

A devoted mother, Eileen's legacy lives on through her cherished children: Eileen F. Mattias, Randy China and his wife Kelly, Leon J. China, III and his wife Cheryl, Shawn China, and Scott A. China. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Madeiros, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Eileen was predeceased by her siblings Maime Madeiros, Mary Courtney, Della Miller and Hilda Denommee.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry, followed by interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry.
