Edward A. Ursillo, Jr., 60, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday evening, March 6, 2025, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, Edward “Eddy” was the beloved son of Edward A. Ursillo, Sr. and Dorothy F. (Sepe) Ursillo of Warwick. In addition to his loving parents, Eddy is survived by his daughter, Ashley M. (Ursillo) Hornby and her husband Christopher; grandson, Troy E. Sinapi; brothers, Richard A. Ursillo and his wife Susan, David S. Ursillo and his wife Diane; nephews, Matthew and Jonathan Ursillo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Most recently, Eddy worked as a Pool & Spa Technician, earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients. He was a lifelong resident of Warwick, and a graduate of Toll Gate High School, class of 1983. He was also a devoted fan of New England sports and a lover of ‘70s rock music.
Eddy loved spending his summers at the beach and relaxing by the pool with family and friends. He was known for his warm and inviting personality, along with a sense of humor that could light up any room. Even in the face of his recent health challenges, he always found a way to make others feel valued and special.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.
