Edward J. Pacheco, 69, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, May 30, 2025, at Kent Hospital in Warwick. Born in Warwick, he was the cherished son of the late Edward J. and Alice M. (Wilcox) Pacheco.
Edward’s early years were enriched as a student at the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, where he developed a foundation that would remain a meaningful part of his life. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, embracing the outdoors, whether it was relaxing by the pool or enjoying serene moments on the water. His warmth, humor, and love for shared family moments left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted siblings, John R. Pacheco and his wife Cindy, with whom Edward resided, and Maureen Perrino of Warwick. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who brought him much happiness and who will treasure the memories they shared with their uncle.
Edward’s funeral services will be private, with interment alongside his beloved parents at Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick. In line with his family’s wishes, visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
To honor Edward’s memory, contributions can be made to the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886, an institution that held special significance in his life.
