Edward Ely Obituary
ELY, Edward H., 53, of West Warwick, passed away, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Warwick, beloved son of Jean A. (Pugsley) Brochu of Coventry and the late Harry E. Ely.
Edward was a carpenter in the construction industry for over twenty five years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and building birdhouses.
Besides his mother he leaves three children, Cliffany Crutcher, Samantha Ely and Edward H. Ely, Jr., all in Washington State; three sisters, Sherry Cronshaw, Robin Bennett and Jean Oxx; five grandchildren and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Harry E. Ely, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Coventry. Arrangements with PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home.
