Edmund P. Conroy, Jr.

Edmund P. Conroy, Jr., 78, of Hope, passed away Friday evening, June 18, 2021 at Fatima Hospital, North Providence.

He was the beloved husband of Janice E. (Riley) Conroy, they had been married for fifty one years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edmund P. Conroy, Sr. and Emily H. (Condon) Conroy.  He resided in Hope for over fifty years.

Ed attended Blessed Sacrament School and Mount Pleasant High School and was employed in the restaurant industry for many years before working at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Providence before retiring.  He enjoyed traveling and caring for his many dogs.

Besides his wife he leaves two brothers, Robert Conroy and his wife Norma and Raymond Conroy and his wife Mary and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by committal prayers in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston.  Please omit flowers.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.Prata-Gallogly.com
