Donald R. Doucette

DOUCETTE, Donald R., 88, of Coventry, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. 

He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Dolores N. (Calabro) Doucette.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Donat and Doris (Phaneuf) Doucette. 

Mr. Doucette was a machinist/toolmaker with Leesona Corp. for 35 years before retiring. 

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Donna D. LeClair and her husband Brian of Coventry and two grandsons, Ian and Adam LeClair.  He was father of the late Donald R. Doucette, Jr. and brother of the late Maurice P. “Moe” Doucette.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry, RI 02816 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
