Dolores N. (DeWitt) China

Dolores N. (DeWitt) China, 72, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, September 7, 2024 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of Roger L. China, they had been married for fifty-four years.  Born in Lafayette, Indiana, a daughter of the late Phillip and Edith (Hopper) DeWitt.  She was a resident of West Warwick for most of her life.

Dolores was employed as a packer at Bradford Soapworks in West Warwick for sixteen years before retiring in 2004.  She loved spending time with family, taking care of them and providing the best home for her family.  She loved all animals especially her cats.

Besides her husband she leaves three children, Roger P. China, Melissa A. China and Barry J. China; ten siblings, Dale, Ronald, Brian, David, Mark, Frank and Roger DeWitt, Mabel Darby, Barbara Flag and Linda DeWitt; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Diane and Junior DeWitt.
