Deborah Rubino Obituary

Deborah L. Rubino, 70, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

                           

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Luigi G. and Florence M. (Bell) Rubino. She was a resident of West Warwick for over thirty years.

Debbi was a cook at the former Golden Lantern in Warwick and Evelyn's Villa in West Warwick for many years until retiring. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, gardening, reading, talking with her sisters on the phone and going out to restaurants for lunch. She had a special place in her heart for her cats Ziggy and Sophia.

She is survived by her companion of many years, James A. Selby; a daughter, Lisa Thornlimb of Lenoir City, TN; a grandson, Jonathan; two sisters, Diane Rubino of Chepachet and Francine Vargas of Barrington and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late James "Sonny" Rubino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a funeral home prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
