David L. Hancock

David L. Hancock, 60, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.

He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. “Debbie” (Joly) Hancock, they had been married for thirty-three years.  Born in Halifax, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Leslie B. and Alice V. (Martin Crew) Hancock.  He resided in West Warwick for many years.

David was a truck driver with Nature's Best Dairy/Garelick Farms for 33 years and most recently Coastline Dairy Distributors.  He enjoyed watching football especially the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics. 

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Jared A. Hancock and his wife Jennifer of Groton, CT and Aaron D. Hancock and his wife Doris of West Warwick; two grandchildren, Lilyana and Alexander Hancock; two brothers, William Hancock in Oregon and Richard Hancock in Indiana and his mother-in-law, Diane B. (Fontaine) Joly.  He was the brother of the late John Hancock.
