Cynthia A. (LeBeau) Phillips, 82, of Sheltra Avenue, Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Friday evening, March 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Phillips. They shared 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2020, building a life centered on devotion to family, kindness, and quiet strength.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Roselyn (Zawislak) LeBeau. Cynthia spent most of her life in Coventry, where she was deeply rooted in her community and family life.
Mrs. Phillips dedicated 27 years of service to the Coventry School District as an instructional assistant, a role she held with great care and commitment until her retirement in 2006. She took pride in helping students learn and grow, and she formed many lasting connections throughout her years in the schools.
Above all, Cynthia cherished time with her family. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—sharing moments with loved ones, reading, and immersing herself in mystery novels and movies that sparked her curiosity and imagination.
She is survived by her three loving children: Thomas A. Phillips and his wife Donna of Coventry; Paul B. Phillips of Coventry; and Kimberly A. Senter and her husband Chad of Lyman, New Hampshire. She was the proud grandmother of Daniel, Karissa, Mikaela, Jacy, and Gage, and the cherished great-grandmother of Wyatt, Mabel, Kialar, and Riye. She also leaves her sister, Jacqueline Mahon, along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Lombardi.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning, March 18, 2026, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the Prata-Gallogly Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, followed by a funeral home service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
