Constance "Connie" D. (Parenteau) Pelletier

PELLETIER, Constance D. “Connie” (Parenteau), 91, formerly of Coventry, passed away Tuesday morning, January 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Cra-Mar Meadows.

She was the beloved wife of Paul E. Pelletier, they had been married for sixty-three years.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Mathias and Laure (Geoffrey) Parenteau.  She was a resident of Coventry for sixty years.

Mrs. Pelletier worked at Centreville Bank in West Warwick as a bank teller and later in the mortgage department for many years before retiring.  She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling with her loving husband.

Besides her husband she leaves three daughters, Celeste Tordoff and her husband Jim of Coventry, Paula Donahue and her husband Patrick of Coventry and Denise Tamburro and her husband Steven of Cranston; six grandchildren, Ashley Sherman, Brandon Tordoff, Amanda Donahue, Sean Donahue, Steven Tamburro and Lauren Tamburro and a great granddaughter, Adaline Sherman.  She was the sister of the late Gloria Martone and the late Norbert Parenteau and sister-in-law of Louise Wilcox of Coventry.  She was the loving aunt to Janice Buche, Claude Parenteau, and Monette Beese of Texas, Dennis Dennigan, Brian Dennigan, and Susan Carrillo of Kansas, Lorand Parenteau of California, Elizabeth Wilcox and the late Paul Wilcox of Coventry and several great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 9:00-10:15 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry.  Interment will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com [pratagallogly.com]
