Claire Millette Obituary

MILLETTE, Claire H. (Morin), 96, of Warwick, formerly of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Halcyon West Bay Assisted Living in Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Millette.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Surprenant) Morin and sister of the late, Evelyn Masse, Joseph Morin and Maurice Morin.

She was the mother of the late David W. Millette.

She served as a volunteer at the RI foodbank for many years.  Claire and her husband were avid boaters and spent many summers on Narragansett Bay.  She appreciated fine art and enjoyed painting and taking art classes.

She is survived by a son, Peter Millette of Norfolk, MA; a daughter, Carol Shelton of Warwick; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Rhode Island Community Food Bank (www.rifoodbank.org) in her memory, would be appreciated.  For information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
