Kitty was the beloved wife of the late Ralph A. “Happy” Petrarca, they had been married for thirty nine years at his passing in 1996. She was a daughter of the late Louis and Natalie (Carbone) Santo. She resided with her family in the East Natick section of Warwick before moving to Cranston.
She is survived by her loving children, Natalie Kiernan (Kevin), Vincent Petrarca (John Krawchuk), and Anthony Petrarca; her beloved grandchildren, Cailey Kiernan, Connor Kiernan, Olivia Venticinque (Vincent) and Antonio Petrarca and her brother, Frank Santo. She was the sister of the late Josephine Silvia.
A longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Kitty and Happy proudly served as co-chairpersons of the Diocese of Providence’s Vision of Hope Campaign in the 1990s. She was also an active member of the East Natick Vets Ladies Auxiliary for many years.
Kitty’s life was one of faith, friendship, and her great joy of family — marked by travels through Europe and the Caribbean, and by her beloved annual Fourth of July week with her family and friends on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Route 5, Warwick. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
