Camilla "Millie" J. (Bessacini) Martin

Camilla J. “Millie” (Bessacini) Martin, 91, formerly of Coventry, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Martin, Sr., they were married for fifty-two years prior to his passing in 2008.  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Michael A. and Agnes S. (Donahue) Bessacini. She was a resident of Coventry for many years.

Mrs. Martin was an administrative assistant with the Warwick School System for many years until retiring.  Millie loved to spend quality time with her best friend and sister, Marie, eating out, shopping and her many visits to the Bonnet Shores Beach Club with her friends.

She is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Paul E. Martin, Jr. and his wife Claudette, David M. Martin and his wife Lisa and Jon P. Martin and his wife Amy; four grandchildren, Ryan Martin and his wife Nicole, Danielle Martin, Jessica Martin and Nicholas Martin; four great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Marie A. Cahill and Michael A. Bessacini, Jr.
