Arline Selby Obituary

SELBY, Arline C, (Belanger), 78, formerly of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was the beloved wife of the late Irving Selby, they had been married for 45 years at the time of his passing. Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Gerard and Irene D. (Penardo) Belanger. She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Mrs. Selby was an office clerk with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years before retiring in 2004. She loved spending time with family and friends and especially cherished her grandsons.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna and her husband David; two grandsons, DJ and Devon; four siblings, Robert “Red”, Judith, Sandra and Rebecca and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service and interment at St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 in her memory, would be appreciated.
