Annette A. (Gendron) Pare

PARE, Annette A. (Gendron), 82, of Coventry, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, June 30, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Kent Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Elphege Pare Jr., they had been married for 59 years. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Alma (Monte) Gendron. She was a resident of Coventry for fifty years.

Mrs. Pare was employed in the meat department at the former Almacs Super Market and Shaw’s Supermarket for many years before retiring.  She was a communicant of SS. John & Paul Church and enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends during the summer months on Johnsons Pond.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Sherry Schmitt and her husband William of Richmond and four grandchildren, Branden and Nathan Pare and Rachel and Dillon Schmitt.  She was a mother of the late Mark D. Pare and sister of the late Morris Gendron, Claire Bezak, Theresa Santilli and Joseph Gendron.

Her funeral will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to SS.
