Anne K. “Bunny” (Parke) Fizzano, 74, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the devoted companion of Joseph M. Dias, with whom she shared twenty-eight cherished years. Born in Amityville, Long Island, New York, Anne was the daughter of the late John W. and Elsie (O’Leary) Parke. She grew up in Seaford, New York, and later made her home in Westerly, Rhode Island, where she raised her family with grace, strength, and unwavering love.
Anne enjoyed a long and dedicated career with Charter Oak Federal Credit Union in Southeastern Connecticut, serving in various branches over the years before retiring. Her warm smile, work ethic, and kindness left a lasting impression on colleagues and members alike.
Above all, Anne treasured her family. She found her greatest joy in being “Nanny” to her grandchildren and could always be found on the sidelines of their games—cheering the loudest, beaming with pride, and offering endless encouragement. She loved shopping and had a special fondness for trying on shoes and clothing, often surprising her grandchildren with thoughtful gifts. Her beloved toy poodles, Gina and Lexie—her “girls”—held a special place in her heart and brought her great comfort and companionship.
In addition to Joe, she leaves behind her two sons, Nicholas Fizzano and his wife, Kelly, of Hope Valley, and Shawn Fizzano and his wife, Jenny, of Westerly. She was the proud grandmother of Nicholas, Madilyn, Sienna, Alyssa, Makenzie, and Christian. Anne is also survived by her brother, Warren Parke, and his wife, Johanna, of Island Park, NY. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Parke.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick. Interment will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
