PETRARCA, Angelina A. “Babe” (Marsocci), 89, of Warwick, passed away Tuesday evening, September 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo J. “Buzzy” Petrarca. Born in Warwick, a daughter of the late Augusto and Maria (Gallo) Marsocci. She was a lifelong resident of Warwick.
Mrs. Petrarca was a postal employee with the U.S. Postal Service for many years before retiring as a manager. Following her retirement from the Postal Service she was a hairdresser for many years. Babe was an active communicant of Sacred Heart Church and loved golf, bowling, traveling and playing cards.
She is survived by her two children, Susan M. Carbone and her husband Andrew of Warwick and Michael D. Petrarca of Miami, FL; a granddaughter, Tori Carbone and her husband Patrick Coupe of Warwick and a brother, Angelo Marsocci of Duxbury, MA. She was the sister of the late Flora Coletta, Albert and Joseph Marsocci.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick.
