Alice M. (Crowther) Johnson

Alice M. (Crowther) Johnson, formerly of Pilgrim Avenue, Coventry, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the Respiratory & Rehabilitation Center of RI, just shy of her 99th birthday.

She was the wife of the late Ralph I. Johnson, they had been married for 67 years upon his passing in 2010.  Born in Milford, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Alice (McMellon) Crowther.  She was a resident of Coventry for most of her life.

Mrs. Johnson was a medical assistant with various Doctor’s Offices in the surrounding West Warwick and Coventry area.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph I. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Roberta of Malta, NY and Ernest K, Johnson of Sterling, CT; a daughter, Linda L. Capwell and her husband David of Coventry; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Claire Major, Nelson Crowther and Barbara Kagen.
