RILEY, Norman A., 86, of West Warwick, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.
He was the loving companion of the late Mary Gloria Venezia for over forty years. Born in Scituate, he was the son of the late John G. and Gladys M. (Patnode) Riley. Norman lived most of his life in West Warwick.
A 1949 graduate of West Warwick High School, Mr. Riley worked as a sales representative for TYCO SimplexGrinnell, covering the Northeast region for over forty-two years before retiring in 1991. Norman enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Wendy M. Riley of Narragansett and Kerri E. Riley of Charlestown; a sister, Janice E. Conroy of Hope; two grandchildren, Scott A. Riley, Jr. and Craig F. Riley and three great-grandchildren, Aidan, Alayna and Addison Riley. He was the father of the late Scott A. Riley and brother of the late Lester Riley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of Visitation on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick from 5:00-7:00 pm, followed by a Service in the funeral home at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
