Mark "Moe" Walsh

WALSH, Mark “Moe”, 92, of Newell Street, West Warwick, passed away Sunday evening, December 31, 2017 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home, Bristol.

He was the beloved husband of Irene C. (Lubera) Walsh, they had been married for 22 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Maurice H. and Catherine J. (Hussey) Walsh.

Mr. Walsh was a personnel officer at Davisville for 34 years before retiring.  He was a communicant of Christ the King Church, a Word War II Navy Veteran, an avid golfer where he was a former member of Valley Country Club, a member of Club Frontenac and was an avid New England sports fan.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Patricia Berkebile of Coral Gables, FL; a son, Kevin Walsh of Coral Gables, FL; two step-sons, Michael Woodruff of West Warwick and Scott Woodruff of Kenyon; four grandchildren, Michaela, Shawna, Michael and Jackie and eight great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9:30 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours Friday 5:00-7:00 pm.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
