SILVA, Marie Yvonne, (Goguen), 83, formerly of Coventry, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at the South Kingstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Kingstown.
She was the wife of the late Francesco Silva. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Blanche (Messier) Goguen.
Mrs. Silva was self-employed as a caretaker for elderly patients for many years until retiring.
She is survived two brothers, Joseph H. Goguen and his wife Rita of North Kingstown and Gerald Goguen and his wife Linda in South Carolina; a sister, Edith Rock in Illinois and several nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late William Silva and sister of the late Lionel, Emil and Arthur Goguen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9:45 am in Greenwood Burial Grounds, Fairview Avenue, Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
