Lucille J. (Barrette) Tellier

TELLIER, Lucille J.,  (Barrette), 91, a lifelong resident of West Warwick, passed away peacefully in her daughter's arms, Friday morning Nov. 3, 2017 at West Shore Nursing Center.
 
She was the beloved wife of the late George Y. Tellier.  She was a daughter of the late Leon J. and Jeannette (Chapdelaine) Barrette.
 
Mrs. Tellier was an office clerk with John Hancock Life Insurance Co. for fifteen years before retiring.  During her retirement years she provided care to the elderly, enjoyed traveling, crafts and giving of her time to help others.  She was a wonderful hostess and cook who loved to entertain family and friends. 

Before her illness, she was a former parishioner at SS. John and James Parish where she donated her time and talent.  She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann and was selected Mother of the Year.
 
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara J. St. John of Warwick and her late husband Robert L. of Warwick; a daughter-in-law, Diane M. Tellier; two grandsons, Craig and Scott St. John; two great grandchildren, Jessica and Keith; a sister, Noella Larocque; a brother-in-law, George E. Picard, Jr.; several nieces and nephews and a dear friend and caregiver, Miguela Lutrario.  She was the mother of the late Steven L. Tellier and sister of the late Muriel I. Picard.
 
Visitation will held Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 from 8:30-10:00 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy  Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Ave., West Warwick.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: henault-gallogly.com
