Lucille G. (Veilleux) Chapdelaine

CHAPDELAINE, Lucille G., (Veilleux), 82, of Knotty Oak Rd., Coventry, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at Kent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of Norman E. Chapdelaine, they had been married for 62 years.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Roland H. and Nathalie (Vautour) Veilleux.  She resided in Coventry for most of her life.

Lucille was the bookkeeper for many years with her family business, N. Chapdelaine Excavating.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and enjoyed dancing and snowmobiling.

Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Kenneth P. Chapdelaine and his wife Kathleen of Coventry and Bruce N. Chapdelaine of Coventry, two grandchildren, Stephanie Wilkins and Jeffrey Chapdelaine, three great grandchildren, Taylor, Aiden and Collin Wilkins and three siblings, Vivian Stefkovich of Tustin, CA, Roland Veilleux of Coventry and Gilbert Veilleux of Little Compton.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant St, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00-7:00 pm.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
