Louise M. (Rogers) Ferreira

FERREIRA, Louise M., (Rogers), 88, of Manchester Drive, Coventry, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Ferreira, Jr., who passed away in 2013.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl (King) Rogers.  She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Mrs. Ferreira was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.

She is survived by her loving son, Gary S. Ferreira and his wife Karen of Warwick; two grandchildren, Evan Ferreira of North Kingstown and Jillian Downing of San Diego, CA; two great grandchildren, Isla and Griffin and three siblings, James Rogers in Florida, William E. Rogers of Coventry and Kenneth Rogers of Scituate.  She was the sister of the late Florence Pimental, Robert, John, Edward and George Rogers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick followed by a collation in the Church Hall.  Interment with her late husband will be private at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Please omit flowers.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
