Carol L. (LaVine) Darcy

DARCY, Carol L., (LaVine), 86, of Kelly Lane, Coventry, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, September 30, 2019 at home.

She was the beloved wife of Alfred E. Darcy, they had been married for fifty-eight years.  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Royal and Margaret (Garvey) LaVine.  She resided in Coventry for many years.

Mrs. Darcy was a teacher’s assistant in the Coventry Public School System for over twenty-five years before retiring.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved cat, Mitsy.

Besides her husband she leaves three daughters, Maryann Darcy-Collins and her husband Troy, Jean M. Darcy and Christina J. Darcy; a son, Peter R. Darcy and his wife Anhdao; seven grandchildren, Raymond, Shane, Sheena, Tyler, Casey, Kai and Erin and three great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Irene Drew and Royal LaVine, Jr.
