Audrey C. (Higgins) Maine

MAINE, Audrey C. (Higgins), 64, of Oak Street, Coventry, passed away Friday evening, December 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas A. Maine, they had been married for ten years.  Born in Bourne, MA, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Shirley H. (Walker) Higgins.  She was a resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area for most of her life.

Audrey was a certified nursing assistant at various nursing facilities for many years until retiring.  She loved spending time with family and her dog, Chico, enjoyed quilting and was an avid Patriot’s fan.

Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Heather L. Valiente and her husband Daymer, Sr.; a son, Roy R. Ring, Jr. and his wife Kimberly; three siblings, Cheryl Broska, Keith Higgins and Dale Robinson and seven grandchildren, Amanda, Mitchel, Alivia and Austin Ring, Hannah and Sonya Vazquez and Daymer Valiente, Jr.

Her funeral will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 10:00 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.  Interment will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Visiting hours Thursday 4:00-7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Lung Association of Rhode Island, 260 West Exchange Street, Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903-1000 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
