William C. "Bill" Lucke, Jr.

LUCKE, Jr., William C., “Bill”, 76, formerly of West Warwick, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Greenwood Center, Warwick.

He was the husband of the late Vicki B. (Burton) Lucke.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Charlotte E. (Emerson) Greene, her husband Clifford and William C. Lucke, Sr.  He resided in West Warwick for most of his life.

Bill was employed at General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division and the City of Warwick Highway Department for many years before retiring.  He loved music, especially country music and playing his harmonica.  Bill was a gentleman and enjoyed the simplest things in life.

He was predeceased by his son, William C. Lucke, III and survived by his children, Charlotte E. Roy and her husband Michael, Richard Voisinet and his wife Jennifer, Tina L. Fontaine, Brenda Lee Lucke and Robert Lee Lucke and his wife Lori; a brother, Richard Lucke; nine grandchildren, Mikayla, Calvin, Michael, Shawn, Nickolas, Alyssa, Christopher, Jonathan and Alexander and three great grandchildren, Maggie, Jayden and Noah. 

The family would like to thank Judy Duffy for her love, caring and true friendship in Dad’s final years.  We are eternally grateful.  You truly made his final days special.

His funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with inurnment at Greenwood Burial Grounds, Coventry.  Arrangements with HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home.
