Stephanie M. (Majka) Plaziak

PLAZIAK, Stephanie M. (Majka), 97, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 19, 2017 at Kent Regency, Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Plaziak.  Born in Three Rivers, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Orzulak) Majka.  She resided in West Warwick for most of her life. 

Mrs. Plaziak was a clerk/bookkeeper at Arkwright in Coventry for 29 ½ years and IUOE Local 57 for 13 years before retiring in 1992.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, an avid golfer, she was a member of Valley Country Club and the Polish Falcons.  

She is survived by a brother, Stanley Panek and his wife Mary in Connecticut and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 8:30 – 9:30 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Plaziak’s memory may be made to VNA Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
