Godspeed and eternal rest to you, Father Walsh. Thank you for your faithful stewardship of St. Matthew Church and the many kindnesses extended to our family. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world....For I was in prison and you came to visit me.’"

You spiritually inspired many students from Rhode Island College who attended Mary Mother of Mankind Church during a time of turmoil. You literally and spiritually built a beautiful neighborhood church. My wife and I were one of the first couples to be married there 37 years ago. We will always be grateful for having spent time with you in our journey of life.
