Oglor D. (Dionne) Lemoi

LEMOI, Oglor D., (Dionne), 94, of West Warwick/Coventry and Tampa, FL passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. 

She was the wife of the late Dr. Leo J. Lemoi, O.D.  Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Norbert J. and Anna L. (Desrosiers) Dionne. 

Oglor enjoyed church and community service activities.  Former member and president of the Catholic Women’s Club, Msgr. Vincent Catholic School PTA President, member of the Kent County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary where she also volunteered for over 40 years and an Auxiliary Member and volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL for 10 years.  She was a member of the St. Mary’s Church (Tampa) Quilters for 10 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Odette L. Griffin and her husband Gerald of Rumford, RI; three sons, Claude L. Lemoi and his wife Tina of Canaan, NH, Brian A. Lemoi of Tampa, FL and Marc L. Lemoi and his wife Lori of Coventry, RI; a sister, Dolores McCrystal (husband John, deceased) of Lexington, KY; a brother, Rene R. Dionne and his wife Rita of Fredericksburg, TX; four grandchildren, Bethany Gagne and her husband John, Eric Lemoi, Caitlyn Lemoi and Kelly Griffin, and a great-grandchild, Sullivan Gagne. She was predeceased by her brother, Norbert N. Dionne and his late wife Cecile. 

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 8:45 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
