Melinda R. "Mindy" Rostron

ROSTRON, Melinda R., “Mindy”, 29, of Blackrock Road, Coventry, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. 

Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of James R. and Rosemary A. (Jendzejec) Rostron of Coventry.   

Mindy graduated from Coventry High School, RI College and was an elementary teacher at Coventry Washington Oaks School. Her passions were her students, family, friends, photography, Roy Carpenter’s Beach, the Patriots and Bruins.

Melinda was the most joyful, loving, compassionate person we knew.  She will always be in our hearts.

Besides her parents she leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.  She was the maternal granddaughter of the late Edward and Julia (Kos) Jendzejec and paternal granddaughter of the late James and Florence (Caldwell) Rostron.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at 10 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry.  Interment will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers contributions to a charity of one's choice in memory of Mindy would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit www.henault-gallogly.com
