Mary E. (Carley) Edmondson

Mary E. (Carley) Edmondson, 84, of West Warwick, formerly of Hampton, GA, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was the wife of the late John R. Edmondson.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Leo V. and Elizabeth C. (Fanning) Carley.  She lived in Hampton, GA for forty years before returning to West Warwick in 2011.

Mrs. Edmondson was a secretary at Uniroyal for many years before retiring.  She was a devout catholic.

She is survived by a brother, Edmund F. Carley and his wife Dorothy of West Warwick; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Carley of East Providence and Diane Carley of Warwick and several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Ellen, Matthew, James and Robert Carley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at 10 am in St. Mary Church, Church St., West Warwick.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  Visiting hours in the HENAULT – GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick, Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 from 5-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
