Marjorie E. (Holland) Stevens

STEVENS, Marjorie E. (Holland), 99, of East Providence, passed away Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017 at Orchard View Manor in East Providence.

She was the wife of the late William F. Stevens. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Daige) Holland. She was a resident of East Providence for most of her life.

Mrs. Stevens was employed at Ann & Hope in Seekonk for 25 years before retiring in 1997. She enjoyed poetry and gardening.

She is survived by a son, William F. Stevens, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Seekonk, MA; four grandchildren, Rebecca Greco and her husband Rene, Eric Stevens and his wife Tamara, Joshua Stevens and John Stevens and his wife Sara; seven great grandchildren, Alec, Darren and Madalyn Stevens, Luke and Brooklyn Greco, Taylor and Brayden Stevens and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul H. Stevens and pre-deceased by nine siblings. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Committal Prayers on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 12 noon at the chapel of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence followed by inurnment.
