Laureen E. Brzoza

BRZOZA, Laureen E., 56, of Warwick formerly of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2017 with her sister Alice by her side.

Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. and Marion E. (Smith) Brzoza. She resided in the Crompton section of West Warwick for most of her life until moving to Warwick in December of 2014.

Laureen was a security officer with Securitias Security Services for 15 years before retiring due to illness.  She was a 1979 graduate of West Warwick High School, a member of the West Greenwich Horseman’s Association, enjoyed horses, animals and helping others.

She is survived by two sisters, Alice A. Maher, with whom she lived and Antoinette Nylander of Punta Gorda, FL; two nephews, Vincent Maher, Jr. and Andrew Maher both of West Warwick and a grand nephew, Haidyn Mychael Maher.

Her funeral and interment were private.  Visiting hours were respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
