Joseph O. Ethier, Jr.

ETHIER, Joseph O., Jr., 77, of Legend Way, West Warwick, passed away Thursday morning, March 15, 2018 at Morgan Health Center, Johnston.

He was the beloved spouse of Alfrieda P. (Senerchia) Ostrander.  Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Joseph O. Ethier, Sr. and Emma D. (Wiseman) Ethier.  He resided in West Warwick for most of his life.

Joe was a machine service/repairman with various machine tool companies for many years before retiring.  He was a Vietnam War Navy Veteran and enjoyed hunting.

Besides his spouse he is survived by his children, Cindy Faiola, Erin, Aaron and Chad Ethier and five grandsons.  He was the father of the late Matthew J. Ethier.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 8:30-10:00 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 10:00 am.  Interment with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers contributions to Beacon Hospice, One Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolence please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
