Jacqueline A. (Keegan) Gourd

GOURD, Jacqueline A. (Keegan), 83, of Warwick formerly of West Warwick, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich.

She was the beloved wife of Theodore W. Gourd, Jr.; they had been married for 64 years.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice (Chartier) Keegan.  She resided in West Warwick for most of her life until moving to Warwick in 2013.

Mrs. Gourd was employed at Natco Products in West Warwick for ten years before retiring.  She was a graduate of West Warwick High School, enjoyed playing bingo and taking bus trips.

Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Ronald K. Gourd and his wife Colleen of Blount County, TN, Alan N. Gourd and his wife Deborah of East Greenwich and Kenneth W. Gourd and his wife Leslie of West Warwick; a brother, Warren Keegan and his wife Rose of Coventry; six grandchildren, Aimee and her husband Jeremy, Neal, Ryan and his wife Laurel, Justin, Maris and her husband Geoff and Chad and four great grandchildren, Breiana, Owen, Stori and Sylas.  She was the sister of the late Louise Eldridge, Helen Parker and Ruth Morin.
