Gloria I. (Jacques) Cahill

CAHILL, Gloria I. (Jacques), 80, of Hill Farm Road, Coventry, passed away Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Kent Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Cahill.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Veleda M. (Brouillard) Jacques.  She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Mrs. Cahill was employed at Quonset Point Naval Air Station then Amtrol, Inc. for twenty years before retiring in 1997.  She lived a fun and happy full life where she helped others and even strangers in need.  She loved cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline A. Brown and her husband Terrance of Coventry; a son, Allen E. Morris, Sr. and his wife Deborah of Coventry;  five grandchildren, Melissa Donnelly and her husband Thomas, Terrance Brown, Jr., Natachee LaColle and her husband Ryan, Allen Morris, Jr., Chenoa Cahoone and her husband Orrin, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey and her husband Ben, Erin, Brittany, Justin, Gabriella, Orrin III, and Sophia; a great great grandson Colin; a brother, Ronald Jacques and his wife Annette and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Norman Jacques. 

Gloria will be missed by all and will forever remain in our heart.  We will always hear her laughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 9:00 am in SS.
